Yesterday, we fulfilled one of our plans for this year activities under the auspices of the EDUCATION for GIRLs INITIATIVE, organization.
We identified with some of the students of the J.W.F Sherman memory institute, up Ducor/Broad Street, Monrovia/Liberia, by means of donating few items such as rulers, copy books, pens, tissues, and so on to the institution to help ease the learning of the students.
The meeting however was a way of establishing a girl's club in the school to enable them learning extracurricular activities and also to create programs that will help enable girls to be fully involved with their academy and professional sojourns.
Many thanks to our Executive Director Madam Olivia Zarwolo for her unflinching supports toward girl's education in Liberia and that of all the organization members for their little contributions that brought smiles to the faces of these children.

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”

If our life's turn to be rewarding, then we should be of blessings to others and help them identify themselves.

At-least this year, we join a team from the US and Liberia to identified with orphans at the Balama Orphanage home in central Liberia, Gbarnga Bong County.

Our program and project Director Jackson David who due to his long outstanding relationship with friends from the Episcopal Church in California invited three 3 humble servants of Christ to join us in Liberia this year to celebrate with orphans and give them hope for better living.

We are  very grateful for our team from Liberia, especially the Education for Girls Initiative Members for their tireless support and contributions towards vulnerable children and most especially to our U.S team, who by their help and intervention made the visit very rewarding to the orphans.

ORPHANS ARE OUR PRIORITY's.

On Monday December 10, the Education for Girls Initiative-EGI will join the rest of the world and alongside with many other institutions, organizations, traditional councils, and individuals to stand up for every person’s rights, we'll encourage policy makers and key stakeholders to #seeourRIGHTS and protect them, as well as remember those persons who lost their lives in fighting for the rights that we enjoy today". The UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which outlines 30 basic rights of every person regardless of status, culture or religion. Human rights are vital proponents to promoting sustainable development and are also indispensable to building peaceful and inclusive societies. #seeourRIGHTS #humanRIGHTSday2018
