On Monday December 10, the Education for Girls Initiative-EGI will join the rest of the world and alongside with many other institutions, organizations, traditional councils, and individuals to stand up for every person’s rights, we'll encourage policy makers and key stakeholders to #seeourRIGHTS and protect them, as well as remember those persons who lost their lives in fighting for the rights that we enjoy today". The UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which outlines 30 basic rights of every person regardless of status, culture or religion.
